System requirements & preparation
Prepare the server with the checklist below before installing. A well-prepared server keeps CafeServer stable and downloads fast.

You do not need to install Visual C++ or a separate browser: CafeServer prepares what it needs (including the Console display component).
Have this information ready
- Your café's CafeID and CafePwd (from your dealer / technician). Don't have them yet? You can install first and enter them later or register a new CafeID in the Console.
- A web password of your choice to protect the Console when opened from other devices.
- The drive / folder you want to keep games in (e.g.
D:\Online Games).
💡 Tip: Keep games on their own drive, not on C:. A full system drive slows the whole server down and causes errors.
Café network
- Give the server a static IP on the LAN so workstations can always find it.
- If you use third-party antivirus / firewall software, allow CafeServer (add it to the trusted list).
