Install GCafe+ Client on a client PC

Updated

One installer, GCafePlusClient-Setup, installs the lock screen, Client App and station service, then starts the lock screen.

Before you start

  • The client PC runs Windows 10 or Windows 11 with Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime (built into Windows 11).
  • You are signed in to Windows with an Administrator account.
  • The café server is running GCafe Billing / GCafe Portal and you know its LAN IP.
  • You have GCafePlusClient-Setup-<version>.exe — download the latest one from hubservices.vn/tai-ve.

Install on one client PC

  1. Run GCafePlusClient-Setup.exe and allow the administrator prompt.
  2. On the welcome page click Tiếp (Next). Keep the default folder and click Tiếp.
  3. On Cấu hình máy trạm (Client configuration), enter the IP máy chủ (server IP — the PC running GCafe Billing / GCafe Portal). Leave it empty and the lock screen asks on first run.
  4. Leave Tắt UAC trên máy này (Turn off UAC) unchecked unless support asks you to.
  5. Click Cài đặt (Install) and wait. Click Show details to see each step.

Result: the last line says Hoàn tất (Done); close the installer and the lock screen appears. From the next boot the PC goes straight to the lock screen.

If the PC has the old GCafe Billing client, the installer removes it first and keeps the saved server IP.

Install on many PCs

Run the installer silently with the server IP (for example server 192.168.1.2):

GCafePlusClient-Setup.exe /S /SERVER=192.168.1.2

💡 Tip: After installing one PC, test sign-in, unlock, launching a game and ordering before mass deployment or capturing an image.

Chưa dừng được hết chương trình GCafe+ Client đang chạy (could not stop all running GCafe+ Client programs)

The old version did not stop in time.

Click Retry. If it repeats, restart the PC and run the installer again.

Đã chép file nhưng triển khai CHƯA hoàn tất (gbsetup mã …) (files copied but deployment not finished)

The client configuration step failed (permissions, antivirus…).

Click Show details, read the LỖI (error) lines, fix the cause and run the installer again. Send a screenshot of those lines to support if needed.

After install, the Client App does not open on unlock

WebView2 Runtime is missing.

Install Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime and restart.
