Install on client PCs

Every client PC needs the GCafe Billing client so the server can time and control it. During installation you only need to enter the server's IP address.

Before you start

  • The server is installed and running (see Install on the server).
  • You know the server's static IP, e.g. 192.168.1.10.

Installation steps

  1. Run gcafeclient.exe on the client PC.
  2. Select I accept… and click Next.
  3. Keep the default install folder (or click Browse), then click Install.
  4. When asked for the server address, enter the server IP. This field is required.
  5. Click Finish.

Result: the PC appears on the server's Máy Trạm (Client PCs) tab with status ONLINE. Repeat on each client PC.

Client PC missing on the server, or shown as DISCONNECT

Wrong server IP, the server is not running, or a firewall blocks the connection.

Check the server IP, start the GCafe Billing server, allow GCafe Billing through the firewall on both PCs; reinstall the client if the IP was wrong.
